Security
Access to the system is controlled by a database where each user’s authority/permits are defined. Based on the user-profile the program-menu is automatically adapted, enabling the user to see or access only the functions the administrator has allowed.

Basic databases
The day to day routines are controlled by a number of basic databases eliminating redundancy and unnecessary data entry during the day. The basic database contains banking-information, information on distribution criteria, prices, VAT, accounts, customers, freight and salaries.

Carriers
The Household distribution package contains a unique module that keeps track of all data and day to day tasks connected with the handling of carriers:
  • Name, address, phone, addresses and age of individual carriers.
  • Manage vacation, sick-leave and other absences.
  • Quick overview of vacant routes/districts.
  • Manage delivery-bags, cars, keys, alarm-codes etc.
  • Start and end of employment.
  • File of routes each carrier has handled.
  • File of carrier-prospects.
  • Manage loyalty-programmes.

Routes/districts
The Household distribution package is fully integrated with the Dimaps GIS/MapInfo package, enabling automatic transfer of routes/districts. It is, however also possible to create and maintain routes without GIS - the Household distribution package contains following related features:

  • File of routes.
  • Creation of street-tables.
  • Printouts of route descriptions.
  • Registration of household criteria.
  • Selection of street-tables for partners and distributors.

  • Delivery station managers.
  • Routes/districts associated to individual delivery stations.
  • Carriers associated to individual delivery stations.
  • Separate salary rates for individual delivery stations.

Creating Orders

The Household distribution package automatically creates:
  • Order confirmation to customer.
  • Packaging lists for warehouse and distributors.
  • Route sheets.
  • Delivery record for carriers.
  • Basis for salary-accounting.
  • Accounting for distributors.
  • Basis for invoicing.

Combined orders
Orders covering areas larger than a single distribution company can handle can be combined. The Household distribution package enables the creation of combined orders, where partners combine to fulfil the order. The Combine order module in the household distribution package contains:
